Knit using the November yarn club from The Nappy Garden, these longies have been knit for a little girl, so Ive finished them off with a crochet shell edging.

A customer has sent me her handspun yarn and requested a hat for her daugher. Ive used it to knit a hat that will fit this year, and has enough stretch to last next Winter too - I always think its good to get as much wear as you can from things :)
Ive added a tassled i-cord which hangs nicely when the hat is worn.
The first part of a collaberation between myself and Allie of Scrunchkins, who made a beautiful dark pink velour Olivia style hoody, with the hood lined in Pink Giraffes fabric.
Ive kettled dyed this yarn to match, and hand knit a soakerless A line skirt, which has been finished with a shell picot edge.

A pair of slongies - longies with an attached skirty :)
This skirty is a shorter length A line, finished with an empire style hem, and is knit using PK Girl Rustic yarn. The longies have been knit in turquoise with empire style cuffs to complement the skirt.
The added skirt makes a big difference to the look of a pair of longies - really pretty and girly!

I received this gorgeous yarn as my September Yarn Club from The Nappy Garden. The theme was Autumn and the yarn itself is really gender neutral. So to make these longies really girly, Ive added a frilled cuff and edged it in the Autumn colourway.
Love them and will definately be ordering some of this colourway for bump!

Ive been busy completing a custom order and couldnt post piccies until the customer received it, as she asked for a surprise :D
So, we have a pair of large/x-large custom sized longies knit in the lovely PK Jasper colourway, and a pair of small longies knit in LLS Raspberries.
Also included in the order, were a pair of 0-6 month baby cuff booties and a newborn crocheted beanie, in LLS Raspberry Superwash yarn, finished with LLS Raspberries trim/flower.
I have another pair of longies drying and starting another pair this evening after a very disturbed night last night *yawn* so hoping for a cat nap later this afternoon :D

I finished this soaker last night, lanolised overnight and have had it drying today - thanks to the dry weather (for a change) it will be dry by tomorrow morning!
This is the 'rear-view' of a crocheted soaker, crocheted under licence using the Wigglebunz Creation pattern. This is a fantastic pattern as it gives that round shape on the bum to accomodate a cloth nappy, and size can be totally customised - this one has a 22" rise and 25" hips.
Ive used the Glens of Antrim colourway, from my exclusive Antrim Coast and Glens range which is dyed by LLS. Its one of my favourite colours, the natural tones are subtle and quite different to a lot of the brighter yarns I use, and of course, because its a range which has been inspired from my locality which happens to be an area of outstanding natural beauty!
You wont find this colourway anywhere else - and I have another 2 colours in the range, The Giants Causeway and The Ceilidh - I have a few more colourways in mind, but its getting the time to get them down on paper and work with LLS to develop them!

1 year on - and I finally remember to start updating :)
Well, 1 year on from setting up this blog, and I have been so busy I havent had the chance to update yet ...
So, very quickly - Droopy Drawers opened 1st October 2009 and I have been really lucky to have a full order book since then :D Im fully booked right up until the end of November at the minute and have had to book a few of my own slots to get some knitting done of my own :D
I WILL update my blog more often - its a great place to keep progress and finished item piccies - and to make sure I use it, Im putting this on my favourites tab - no excuse now :D
So to start with, heres a pair of custom longies finished yesterday in PK Elements colourway - Custom sized, these have a 24" hip, 20" rise and a looooong 14" inside leg measurement...
I have another pair on my needles already for the same customer so watch this space for piccies in the next day or 2!
